We stayed at a hotel near a train station and local attractions. the downstairs restaurant had quality food, but small portions. the room had ample space, a clean modern bathroom, and amenities for children. the staff was hospitable and spoke English. I appreciated the air conditioning and control. Buses passed nearby. Even though there was no view from the hotel, the location was a convenient base for exploring the area by the bridge.

The staff, both Taiwanese and Japanese, were friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and stylish stay in Kyoto.
