Location: the hotel was so close to taxi. Our room was modern and neat, offered with all the amenities, great bathrooms plus well functioning heater. The service was all in all good.
Although everything was really good, some of the staff were irresponsible.

The Grandwest Arashiyama is a well-maintained hotel in a great location, just a 3-minute walk from Arashiyama Hankyu. The staff is attentive and engaging, providing a unique and enjoyable experience for guests. They have an information board that highlights attractions and recommended food in the area, without overwhelming guests with too many options. The hotel also organizes activities that showcase local culture, allowing guests to experience and appreciate Kyoto's traditions. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the efforts made by the staff to accommodate our dietary needs.
Felt safe, nothing to complain about.

We stayed at a hotel near a train station and local attractions. the downstairs restaurant had quality food, but small portions. the room had ample space, a clean modern bathroom, and amenities for children. the staff was hospitable and spoke English. I appreciated the air conditioning and control. Buses passed nearby. Even though there was no view from the hotel, the location was a convenient base for exploring the area by the bridge.
The hotel was quite far from the famous togetsukyo bridge.

The hotel was really modern and staff were amazing. Free bikes were a nice touch, as were complementary facts offered. the location was great, just a short walk from a train station with plenty to do within walking distance.
The breakfast was unusual and lacked variety, and the window coverings didn't block much light, making it difficult to sleep in.

The hotel provided us with free bikes, which was awesome! We took a ride to the nearby park and had a great time. , the room we stayed in was spacious, had a great view, and included a lovely and comfortable bathroom. the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. We could easily walk to a local station, which was super convenient.
Our continental breakfast did not offer much variety, and we had the same food every day, which became redundant. , the room had insufficient window coverings that did not block out the morning sun, and we found it uncomfortable.

Nothing all good.

We had a pleasant stay at The Grandwest Arashiyama. The room was spacious and clean, perfect for our group of five adults. We loved the modern and stylish design, which still embraced traditional Japanese style. The location was ideal, within walking distance of Arashiyama Station and a short drive away from the bustling streets and bamboo forest. We also appreciated the free coffee machine in the lobby and the simple breakfast provided each morning. The staff, both Taiwanese and Japanese, were friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and stylish stay in Kyoto.

I had the most incredible stay at this hotel! The room was absolutely massive and had a modern yet traditional Japanese style. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities I could ever need. The location was perfect, nestled in a quiet residential area but still close to the train station and plenty of tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. I especially loved the free wi-fi in the rooms and the dining restaurant. this place provided the utmost comfort and quality service, making my stay truly luxurious.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and had great facilities. The location was perfect, on a quiet street very close to all the main attractions in the area, and it only took me a few minutes to walk to them. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in providing transportation options and recommendations for places to visit.
Everything was great.
